MOTION NO. 11

MOTION: Councillor E. Murphy

"Given the length of the process for the progression of a new school building for Gaelscoil Chnoc Liamha and the impact that persistant delays are having on school resources I propose that this Area Committee writes to the Minister for Education and Skills requesting him to commit financial support to Gaelscoil Chnoc Liamha in the interim. The school is using valuable funds which should be used for educational purposes to maintain decrepit prefabs which are not fit for purpose."

REPORT:

"If this motion is passed, a letter will issue to the Minister for Education and Skills and when a reply is received it will be issued to the members."
