MOTION: Councillor B. Ferron

"That this Committee notes with concern the increased amount of anti-social behaviour happening at the Old Bawn end of Dodder Park.  This Committee calls on the CEO to actively work with the local Gardai to try and find solutions to this growing problem."

REPORT:

"The Council is particularly conscious of the level of anti-social behaviour that is taking place in this and other areas, and continues to work with An Garda Siochana in this regard.  The Gardai have recently committed to assigning additional resources to patrol this area as well as other parks locations which are subjected to regular anti social behaviour.  The Council will continue to liaise with the Gardai on the matter and will arrange for the park rangers to monitor this location as well.  It is also proposed that the entrance to the cycleway and walkway at Seskin View Road will be modified to prevent access to the park by motorbikes and quads."
