MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"That this Area Committee notes that some lighting in Palmerstown has been upgraded which is very welcome. Can the Chief Executive inform this LAC what plans are in train to continue the upgrade and to note that residents complain that the lighting on many roads, especially in the "Estates" between the Oval and Kennelsfort Road e.g. Turret Road, Wheatfield Road etc."

REPORT:

 A briefing document was issued to the elected members on 9th Feb 2018 regarding upgrades scheduled for Q1 and Q2 of this year. A copy is attached.

An update on this will be issued to the LAC in May regarding upgrade plans for Q3 and Q4 of 2018. We have noted your request and depending on resources will endeavour to include the locations you have mentioned in these plans.
