QUESTION NO. 8
QUESTION: Councillor M. Johansson
"To ask the Chief Executive to report on the frequency of cleansing on St Mark's Avenue and, in light of significant dumping on the Glenfield side of the road, if the frequency could be increased?"
REPLY:
St Mark's Avenue is litter picked on a 2-3 week frequency to coincide with grass cutting operations. The picking includes the grass verge/open space on the Glenfield side of the road. While it is not possible to currently increase the frequency of picking due to the large number of locations in the area which suffer similar dumping issues, an additional litter pick can be organised to deal with one off instances where they occur.
