REPLY:

The works on Tower Road and Main Street Clondalkin involve an upgrade to the pedestrian footpath using 80mm granite paving slabs. €80,000 has been allocated to this scheme of which €35,722 has been paid to date. The works include for paving slabs, drainage channels where required and replacement of damaged or missing bollards. The contractor was selected by public tender on Supply Gov. website

The works are supervised on an ongoing basis by the Area Engineer.

The existing paving outside the Credit Union will be inspected by the Area Engineer and any necessary repairs will be carried out in 2018.
