"That the Chief Executive present a report for discussion by this Committee on the footpath repair work on Tower Road and Main Street, to include a report on what was included in contract and monies allocated to work? and what additional expenses have arisen if any and how contractors where selected?"

REPORT:

The works on Tower Road and Main Street Clondalkin involve an upgrade to the pedestrian footpath using 80mm granite paving slabs. €80,000 has been allocated to this scheme of which €35,722 has been paid to date. The works include for paving, drainage channels where required and replacement of damaged or missing bollards. The contractor was selected by public tender from Supply Government website.
