QUESTION NO. 1

QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the CEO to present a further report in respect of matters raised at the most recent meeting in Fettercairn Community Centre organised by the Fettercairn Estate Management Committee; will he appreciate the concern of the local community in respect of these matters and will he make a statement?"

REPLY:

“The Council remains committed to Fettercairn Estate Management Committee and in response to concerns raised by residents at the recent meeting on 20/2/18, several actions have been taken. Works involving the highering of ramps at Drumcairn Parade have been given to the Contractor and are due to be completed on March 29th. The barriers to prevent joyriding at the green area at Drumcairn avenue are now installed.The Council has liaised with Tallaght Gardai and action has been taken in relation to Drugs Activity in Fettercairn.

A further regular meeting of Fettercairn Estate Management took place on 13/3/18 and the Council has agreed to work on an environmental plan with residents including Springtime planting and landscaping to enhance the area. “
