QUESTION: Councillor C. O'Connor

"To ask the CEO how many applications have been received from the area covered by the TAC in respect of the recently announced Rebuilding Ireland Home Loan Scheme; will he confirm how he is promoting the scheme to the public and will he make a general statement in respect of the matter?"

REPLY:

"The new national Rebuild Ireland Home Loan was launched by the Minister and came into affect on the 1st Februay 2018.  South Dublin have currently 31 applications for this new loan.

As this is a national scheme a dedicated website and call centre were set up to deal with all queries.  South Dublin County Council in conjuction with Rebuild Ireland Home Loan advertised this new loan on its website which has direct links to the Rebuild Ireland website."
