MOTION NO. 3

MOTION: Councillor L. Dunne

"That this area committee calls on the Chief Executive to provide a full report with regards to the numerous motions and questions that have been submitted in relation to the opening of the access gate in Springbank.  Although, a petition was signed by a majority of residents who are in favour, a public consultation has yet to happen, with only a deputation meeting being held with 4/5 residents attending."  

REPORT:

"The consultation process with the Springbank residents has now commenced, letters and questionnaires relating to this matter have been issued to all Springbank households during the week ending Friday February 23rd.  Residents have been asked to return completed questionnaires by 5pm on Friday March 23rd. The completed questionnaires will then be examined and submissions compiled into a report which it is proposed will be presented to the Tallaght Area Committee at the April meeting.  This project was provided for in the 2017 Public Realm Improvement Works Programme but did not proceed during 2017, it is now proposed to carry that provision over to the 2018 Improvement Works Programme."
