MOTION: Councillor R. Nolan

"That this committee agree to providing a lollipop lady for St Marys Boys National school in Lucan. The chairperson, on behalf of the parents association are very concerned for child safety. There was a traffic accident there recently and a parent has to jump out of the way to avoid been hit by a car."

REPORT:

South Dublin County Council does not have any sanction for the provision of new School Wardens in the County. St. Marys Boys National School in Lucan will be added to a list of schools to be visited by the Road Safety Officer over the remainder of the school term.
