QUESTION: Councillor P. Gogarty

"To ask the Chief Executive to update on the Council's response to issues raised by this Councillor at last month's Traffic Management meeting in relation to ongoing safety problems being experienced by residents of Ballydowd Grove in exiting their estate, as well as problems with all day parking in the vicinity of the Lucan Road junction as well as the next junction in; and if a statement can be made on the matter?"

REPLY:

The parking issues raised will be inspected by our Traffic Engineer and a report brought back to the next Traffic Management Meeting to be held in March.

A letter has been issued to the owner of the "Fishing and Shooting" premises in relation to illegal parking, possible breaches of casual trading regulations and erection of signage on the footpath. A response is awaited.
