"That this Committee calls on the Council to liaise with Gardai regarding the urgent requirement to install CCTV and/or mobile CCTV in areas identified by residents and Palmerstown Community Council at a public meeting on 12th February last."

REPORT:

Council officials were not present at a recent public meeting held on 12th February and the motion submitted does not outline any location(s).  

If specific location(s) are identified and the motion is passed, the sentiment of the committee will be conveyed to An Garda Siochana.

In all such cases Data Protection and Privacy is of critical importance together in ensuring complaine with GDPR regulations and approval of the Joint Policing Committee.
