QUESTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on my motion agreed at the June 2017 LAC “To request a site meeting on Mill Lane/Old Lucan road with representatives of Stewarts Hospital and local residents to agree the location for the proposed pedestrian crossing and to identify footpath repairs, parking and other traffic issued that will address the safety concerns of Stewarts Hospital Users Council?”

REPLY:

 The following reply was given in June 2017 and remains valid:-

"SDCC will attend a meeting to listen to public views and concerns about this location. If there are numerous preferred locations for the Pedestrian Crossing, these should be forwarded to South Dublin County Council in map form.

Road Maintenance have carried out repairs in this area and will await the results of the site meeting to ascertain if further works are necessary."
