QUESTION: Councillor E. O'Brien

"To ask the Chief Executive following my motion moved at the last Area Committee meeting to indicate if liaision officers have been appointed to deal with matter relating to development at Adamstown?"

REPLY:

A meeting has taken place with the Adamstown Developers’ representative in relation to this matter. It has been agreed to explore the possibility of creating the position of liaison officer to deal with matters relating to the development at Adamstown.

The exact remit of the liaison officer, the governance structure, as well as the means and frequency of communication relating to their role is presently being discussed. It is anticipated that this matter will be resolved in the coming weeks.
