MOTION: Councillor C. King

"That this Committee calls on the CEO to arrange for the installation of one of our mobile cameras on the perimeter of Jobstown Park at Glenshane Drive with a view to discouraging and catching culprits who are illegally dumping rubbish in the park on a large scale which is causing severe nuisance and environmental health issues for both residents and park users."

REPORT:

"In accordance with Appendix 3 of the Litter Management Plan 2015-2019 on the protocol for provision of CCTV, CCTV is provided following assessment of the location for suitability and demonstrated need.

This site has been assessed by our CCTV Contractor and was deemed suitable for installation of a CCTV System. 

The system will be installed within the next 2 weeks."
