MOTION NO. 13

MOTION: Councillor E. O'Brien

"Noting the continued nuisance being caused by developers in the Adamstown SDZ including but not limited to, traffic disruptions, water pressure changes and lack of cleansing of roads, this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive take up these issues with the various developers currently onsite and report back to this Committee on actions to be taken to reduce these incidents."

REPORT:

Council have brought and continue to bring these issues to attention of the relevant developers. It is Council’s intension to liaise with the developers to explore the feasibility of establishing the position of a liaison officer. It is proposed that the liaison officer will be responsible for responding and resolving these type of issues as they arise. Members will be updated on the outcome of this initiative in due course.
