MOTION NO. 1

MOTION: Councillor P. Gogarty

"That this Committee writes to Dublin Bus requesting a meeting in relation to bus services in the electoral area, in particular inadequate peak time 25, 25A, 25B services to Lucan/Adamstown and additional capacity problems caused by the purchase of new buses which has resulted in a reduction in legal loads of 10 passengers per bus, although longer buses are available to purchase; and furthermore to discuss plans to ensure provision of orbital bus routes servicing the Outer Ring Road in advance of any construction at Clonburris SDZ."

REPORT:

In July 2017 a general reply was received following issues raised with Dublin Bus regarding requests for changes to the bus service.  I have attached this for your information.  If the motion is passed an invitation will be issued to Dublin Bus.
