"This Committee congratulates the "Tree of Hope" on winning a special recognition award at this years Social Endeavour Awards and asks that the Council identify a public location for the planting of a Tree of Hope in North Clondalkin."

REPORT:

 The 'Tree of Hope' initiative was presented with a Special Recognition Award by Mayor Paul Gogarty on November 25th last at the Community Endeavour Awards.  There are a number of 'Tree of Hope' plantings at locations across the Clondalkin area including Clondalkin Community Centre, Deansrath Community College, Bawnogue Parish, Church of the Sacred Heart at Sruleen, Beacon of Light and Corkagh Park.  The Council will liaise with the 'Tree of Hope' team to identify a suitable public location and facilitate any required assistance for the planting of a 'Tree of Hope' in North Clondalkin.
