MOTION: Councillor G. O'Connell

"That this committee requests that the Chief Exective contact the owners to Liffey Valley Shopping to get them to bring their signs for “Palmerstown” into line with the correct spelling of the name and secondly write to the NRA and ask that they bring their signs on the M50 and N4 into line with the correct spelling of “Palmerstown”. There is much local concern that four years after the plebiscite to restore the correct place name and spelling, publically funded bodies continue to ignore the wishes of the people or indeed display good practice."
