MOTION: Councillor B. Bonner

"In spite of the work that was carried out in the Clondalkin Village area to address real hazards on the footpaths, the area in front of the Credit Union at the junction of Tower Road and Main Street remains in an extremely hazardous condition and was not worked on at all.  This committee requests that this work would be done as a matter of urgency."

REPORT:

The paths in front of the Credit Union were laid in 2009 on completion of the building. On a recent inspection it was noted that a small number of the slabs have become loose. In addition, some settlement has occured adjacent to an Eircom chamber. The Area Engineer will be requested to arrange for the re-setting of the damaged slabs.
