"This Committee agrees that  the Chief Executive should arrange to fix the section of the wall at Quarryvale Park on Shancastle Lawns. This damaged section has been used to bring cars into the park that were subsequently set on fire."

REPORT:

The wall at Shancastle Park has been incrementally vandalised over a period of time and currently there is a 22 meter long section which is missing. Boulders have been used to close off any openings and these have proved successful where used. While the most recent section of vandalised wall is currently unsecured arrangements are in hand to rectify this.

The design of the wall is being examined to determine if there is a more suitable robust method to secure the park at this location.
