QUESTION NO. 6
QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner
"What is the plan for the re planting of the bed on the Fonthill Road between Boot Road and Caldbeck Way? What type of plants will be used and when will the work commence?"
REPLY:
The nature of the works will involve the removal of the existing vegetation and re-landscaping the area to include the planting of trees and shrubbery. The works will also involve some hard landscaping through the use of a stone/brick retaining edge around the planted areas. The width of the planted area will be reduced to allow for a wider footpath, thus improving accessibility along the Fonthill Road.
Works will commence in early 2018.
