MOTION: Councillor P. Foley
"That the Chief Executive provide an update on the architects report for the possible development of lands in Templeogue Village including, but not limited to, the public car park and area known as the piggery."
REPORT:
"The lands in question are in at least three separate ownerships including lands owned by South Dublin County Council including the Piggery site and the public car-park. Architects Department were requested to evaluate the development capacity of the sites combined and with a number of road/access options. The development capacity was to be costed and viability and return on investment reviewed. A team of consultants including Duffy Mitchell O'Donoghue Architects and Stewart Chartered Surveyors Ltd were procured and have carried out the study as requested. The Chief Executive will brief the Elected Members of Terenure-Rathfarnham in a separate meeting to be arranged in the short term on the results of the study and will also update them on the developing design for the Templeogue Village Initiative."
