MOTION: Councillor P. Donovan

"That this Area Committee invites the National Transport Authority/Transport Infrastructure Ireland to our next Area Committee meeting to address their solutions to the growing concerns (plus evidence of increased traffic congestion) as a result of planned and imminent house building within our area that is increasingly having an impact on movement within the wider area."

REPORT:

"Following motions passed at previous Area Committee Meetings, invitations have been extended to the NTA to make a presentation to the Committee on ongoing transport needs.  The most recent invitation was sent in April 2017.  Responses are still awaited.  A further invitation can be issued to the NTA if the motion is passed."
