QUESTION: Councillor E. Murphy

"To ask the Chief Executive to please clarify the timescale for Whitechurch Estate in Ballyboden in relation to the Tree Management Programme?"

REPLY:

"In line with the Council's Tree Management Policy 2015-2020 "Living With Trees", the focus of the Tree Maintenance Programme is on entire roads or whole estates increasing efficiency and productivity of the tree maintenance.

Whitechurch Way is listed on the 2017 Tree Maintenance Programme for maintenance of all trees on the road. In advance of any works being carried out, a full survey of all trees in the Whitechurch Way, will be carried out to inform the scheduling of tree pruning and removal works.

The remainder of the tree maintenance in Whitechurch Estate will be scheduled as considered necessary in future Tree Maintenance Programmes."
