"To ask the Chief Executive how much has been spent on clearing away illegal dumping within the 'alcoves' at Bohernabreena Cemetery over the past five years?"
REPLY:
All expenditure relating to the removal of illegal dumping within South Dublin County Council's administrative remit is costed to one Jobcode. Expenditure associated to the 'alcoves' within Bohernabreena cemetery cannot be isolated.
The below table sets out expenditure (as a whole) over the past five years for removal of illegal dumping within South Dublin County Council's remit.

Dumping activity within Bohernabreen Cemetery appeared to stall for a period post the provision of CCTV at the carpark. Anecdotally, this appears to have recommenced and it is now intended to examine options to manage this problem.
