"To ask for flashing speedometer lights in Newcastle at the approach to St Finian's N.S." 

REPLY:

There are currently no plans to install speed display signs at this location.  Speeds tend to be low in this area especially during school opening/ closing times due to school related congestion.

It is noted that flashing school warning signs are already in place at this location.
