QUESTION: Councillor W. Lavelle
"To ask the Chief Executive to urgently seek the maintenance of the former Foxhunter site given the significant local concerns over the unkempt and visually unattractive nature of the site; and to further provide an update on our repeated requests for a meeting with the agents of the owners?"
REPLY:
The former Foxhunter site, Ballydowd, Lucan, Co. Dublin was last inspected on 18th September, 2017. The Inspector reports that the site is safe and secured and that no works are required at present.
South Dublin County Council, Enforcement & Licensing continues to monitor the site on a regular basis and has contact with the agent working on behalf of the owner of the site.
There are no updates to report as yet regarding any future change of use / purpose of the site.
