QUESTION: Councillor L. O'Toole

"To ask the Chief Executive to provide an update on the swimming pool for Lucan and to confirm the number of submissions received on the planning application?" 

REPLY:

"The public consultation period for the Lucan Swimming Pool Griffeen Valley Park was from 14.07.2017 to 11.09.2017 5:00pm, during that period 10 submissions were received through the consultation portal and 2 hardcopy submissions were received.

The next stage in the process is to update the County Architects report to include a summary of the issues raised in the submissions and the recommended formal response, having evaluated the likely implications. This report will then be submitted to the members of the Council at their September meeting for approval."
