QUESTION NO. 11
QUESTION: Councillor B. Bonner
"How much has the work at Brú Chrónáin cost the council?
What contribution has central government or the OPW made to the project?"
REPLY:
The overall cost estimate for the construction and the fit out of the interpretative centre, café and retail space at The Round Tower, Clondalkin - Brú Chrónáin is €4 million.
The project was funded solely by South Dublin County Council, however the Council worked very closely with the Office of Public Works and acknowledge the great contribution that the staff from the OPW made in assisting with the delivery of this project.
