QUESTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on the Compulsory Purchase of land adjacent to Gaelscoil Knocklyon?"

REPLY:

"The Compulsory Purchase of un-registered lands adjacent to Gaelscoil Chnoc Liamha has completed.  The Vesting of the lands is also complete and the Land is now registered in the ownership of South Dublin County Council in the Property Registration Authority.

The disposal of lands to the Department of Education is underway and all documentation has been forwarded to the Law Department to complete the disposal transaction.  An update from the Law Department has advised that draft contracts have been prepared and will be sent to the Department's Solicitors in the coming days."
