QUESTION: Councillor F.N. Duffy
Can the Chief Executive report on the investigation and progress of MOTION NO. 188 of the Development Plan calling for the following rights of way 1. Dublin-Wicklow Border. 2. 02 Killakee. 3. 03 Brittas. The recommendation was adopted with amendment: Insert an action under Policy 16 of the Draft County Development Plan (Public Rights of Way and Permissive Access Routes) to investigate the areas of the Dublin-Wicklow Border, Kilakee and Brittas for the purpose of creating possible public rights of way.
REPLY:
At the time of writing no potential public rights of way or permissive paths have been proposed by landowners or stakeholders in the areas concerned. Should such proposals be brought to the attention of the Planning Authority they will be examined under the relevant national legislation and policies in the County Development Plan.
