Could the Chief Executive please state if South Dublin County Council plans to employ a Biodiversity Officer for the Council.
REPLY:
The Planning Department currently employs a dedicated Heritage Officer who devotes a considerable portion of their time to issues of Biodiversity and Ecological heritage. The Heritage officer provides advice and assistance to all sections of the Local Authority in such matters as Heritage and Biodiversity, as well as to Resident and Community Groups throughout the County.
