QUESTION: Councillor V. Casserly
"To ask the Chief Executive, on behalf of Lucan Planning Council to provide extra parking spaces for Lucan Village. Lucan Planning Council are proposing an area that can provide for up to fifty extra vehicles close to the village. Their proposal is to use the road space of the existing bus lane opposite the Ball Alley Pub. This space is available after 9.30 AM when the bus lane ceases?"
REPLY:
A review of parking in Lucan with a view to identifying additional car parking spaces (including the Leixlip Road bus lane) will be undertaken in accordance with the "Procedure for the Implementation of Pay and Display Parking Controls in a Particular Location" outlined in the South Dublin County Council (Control of Parking) Bye-Laws 2010.
A report will then be brought to the Area Committee.
