"Following my motion raised last month, could the Chief Executive provide an update on the consultation between SDCC and Gardai in relation to Fun Fair criteria and in particular the one previously located at Griffeen Park on the Newcastle Road."

REPORT:

Full debriefing post the recent Fun Fairs held at Griffeen Valley and Corkagh Park is continuing. 

To date a comprehensive meeting between SDCC officials and AGS has taken place and a meeting with the operator of the Fun Fair is scheduled for Wednesday 28th June 2017. 

A full report will be prepared when all meetings have concluded.
