QUESTION: Councillor E. O'Brien

"To ask the Chief Executive to update this committee on efforts to progress the village improvement scheme and in particular if new drawings are available for the proposed changes to the Village Green?"

REPLY: 

All current resources are engaged in progressing schemes in Newcastle, Tallaght, Saggart and Templeogue.

Newcastle is currently on site and is to be completed shortly. Tallaght Phase One is due to commence on site in the next two weeks, with Saggart Village going to tender within the next month or so. Templeogue is currently undergoing preliminary design and will be undergoing Part VIII consulatation in the autumn.

A review of the programme and allocation of available resources will be carried out towards the end of the year.
