Items discussed:

• Traffic congestion on the Newcastle Road: R120.

• Proposed measures to alleviate traffic congestion around the R120.

• Timeline for the Adamstown – Celbridge link road.

• Updated Traffic Model & Traffic Management Plan for Newcastle Road.

Commitments given:

1 - Willie Purcell to circulate report with the Deputation following meeting with Developer regarding Phase 2 of Adamstown SDZ, once this information is not deemed to be commercially sensitive.

2 - Helena Fallon to bring proposal on Traffic Modelling in relation to item 1 and 2 to the September Area Committee meeting.

3 - Councillors to seek a written response from Transport Infrastructure Ireland on the opening of access points to the N4.
