MOTION: Councillor C. King

"That this Area Committee calls on the Chief Executive to sign and line parking spots on part of Russell Place as a pilot for the Estate to ascertain if its feasible and worthwhile to do likewise in the rest of the Estate?"

REPORT:

"It is not Council policy to provide dedicated parking space markings on roads in housing estates unless it is part of a "pay and display" arrangement. If this is implemented residents would have to purchase a permit to use during the "pay and display" operating hours. It is felt that the current parking arrangements are satisfactory."
