Through our Allocation Scheme we will allocate tenancies to those with homeless priority and will continue to promote the Housing Assistance Payment Scheme. The construction of in excess of 200 Rapid Build units across the County throughout 2017 and 2018 is also a key componant of the Council's response to homelessness. We are continuously working with the Department, Housing Agency and the DRHE to meet the needs of those on our Homeless list.
