QUESTION: Councillor B. Leech

"To ask the Chief Executive has there been any progress with the removal of shrubbery, changing the gauge of the fencing at the playground and proper lighting at the Jobstown Community Centre. This was agreed at a public meeting there some months ago?" 

REPLY:

"The fencing between the playground and the community centre at Jobstown has been replaced in recent times by a stronger gauge of security fencing.  The condition of the fencing is being monitored regularly and to date it has remained in good condition.  Lighting at both the playground and community centre sites has been examined and would appear to be adequate."
