COMHAIRLE CONTAE ÁTHA CLIATH THEAS
SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
MEETING OF TALLAGHT AREA COMMITTEE

QUESTION NO. 13
QUESTION: Councillor M. Duff
"To ask the Chief Executive, to consider as a temporary replacement, to place planters on the verges where trees have recently being removed in Glenview Park, while awaiting the three year replanting period?"
REPLY:
"Planters are used by the Council in high amenity areas such as urban or village centres. Planters require frequent maintenance and are not considered suitable for a residential street landscape. Glenview Park will be inspected to determine when tree planting can take place."
