QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

"To ask for a report into the area surrounding Veronica Guerin Memorial - to ask that it is maintained and upgraded and what plans are in place to maintain this area? " 

REPLY:

The monument was constructed in accordance with the Guerin family wishes.  The family want nothing further done with it.  There are no proposals to undertake any works in the vicinity of the monument other than normal routine maintenance.
