"To call on the Chief Executive to explore in monthly programme for Libraries the inclusion of a session for children with additional needs with suggested ideas from Lucan Autism Network of music therapy or sensory arts and crafts."

REPORT:

"The events programme in branch libraries endeavour to cater for the needs of all the children and the events committee will look further into what is available for children with special needs – specifically Autism for a future event/activity.

This month an event which may be suitable is a Musical Tots event - a fun, interactive workshop for children ages 6 months to 5 years with their parent/guardian on Tuesday 14th March from 10.30am. Members of the public can check locally with the Library for booking details."
