QUESTION NO. 31

QUESTION: Councillor F. Timmons

To ask the Chief Executive to issue a report on all sites that are deemed suitable for proposed sale within the SDCC area. This report includes proposed use of said sites and if the sites are sold which department will benefit from the sale and how and what the additional funds will be used?

REPLY:

The Councils land bank is constantly under review in terms of opportunities to deliver Council strategic objectives in terms of disposal and/or development of property in its' ownership.  Where lands are disposed the monies received are used to support the Councils capital programme.

A full report in this regard will be brought to the meeting of the O,P&F Committee in March 2017.
