QUESTION: Councillor M. Johansson

"To ask the Chief Executive, to give a timeline of the construction of the Part 8's in Lett's Field and to outline what alternative arrangements will be available for local people using the field for recreational activities during this time?"

REPLY:

The Social Housing Build project which was approved by Council in September 2015 for the development of 37 units at Letts Field, Neilstown, Clondalkin is scheduled to go to tender for contractors in January 2017. The Department of Housing Planning Community and Local Government approved the pre-tender costs in December 2016 allowing SDCC to proceed to contract tender. 

The pitch at Letts Field has not been released to clubs for registration for a period of time.
