QUESTION: Councillor D. Looney

"To ask the Chief Executive for an update on plans to provide bins in Dodder Valley Park, and to make a statement on the matter?"

REPLY:

"A commitment was given in 2015/2016 to install litter bins at the entrances to Dodder Valley Park in the Old Bawn area, and following this 3 litter bins were installed at the Old Bawn Road and Seskin View Road entrances to the park.  While there are no proposals at present to install additional litter bins in the park the matter will be further examined in January 2017 under the litter bin review which is being carried out at present for the Environment and Public Realm SPC."
