"Could the plans for the permeability project at Knockmeenagh Road to St Brigid's Cottages  and on to the Luas  be looked at again please."

REPLY:

In 2014 the Knockmeenagh Road to St Brigid's Cottages route was identified as a potential link as part of a wider review of the Clondalkin area under the Clondalkin Movement Framework study funded by the National Transport Authority (NTA) under the Sustainable Transport Measures Grants (STMG's). While it remains a potential STMG scheme, no further preliminary design or detailed design works has been carried out on the project to date due to prioritisation of funding by the NTA for other schemes within the Clondalkin area, such as the improvement works carried out along Monastery Road.
