MOTION: Councillor D. O'Donovan

"That the Chief Executive gives a full report on the situation with homeowners living in Owendore Avenue.  Recent flooding events over the past number of years has resulted in the access road to their houses seriously eroding and immediate action needs to be taken."

REPORT:

"This is a private road built by the developer of the houses. This road has not been taken in charge and South Dublin County Council do not maintain private roads or embankments. The developer is now dissolved and the road and the river bank is vested in the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform. Agreement with the Department is required in order for the works to proceed."
