QUESTION: Councillor E. Murphy

"To ask the Chief Executive if there are maintenance works planned for the cycle lane on Ballyroan Road as part of the part 8 works in the area?"

REPLY:

"The existing cycle lanes along Ballyroan Road are not included in the Part 8 scheme for the Ballyroan Schools Cluster Project. Nonetheless the aforementioned cycle lanes are currently maintained by South Dublin County Council’s Roads Maintenance Section (SDCC RMS).

Once the Ballyroan Schools Cluster Project which provides for cycle / pedestrian improvements linking Ann Devlin Park to Ballyroan Crescent is complete it will be taken in charge by South Dublin County Council and maintained by SDCC RMS."
