QUESTION NO. 10
QUESTION: Councillor E. Murphy
"To ask the Chief Executive if the Council has a Flood Alleviation or Management plan for the Dodder and in particular for the area surrounding the Lower Dodder Road?"
REPLY:
"The River Dodder Catchment Flood Risk Assessment and Management Study (CFRAMS) was carried out by RPS on behalf of the OPW and the Local Authorities. The Flood Risk Assessment and Management Plan was produced in 2012 and work along the Dodder has progressed in accordance with the plan. The next phase of work to be progressed under this plan is on the Whitechurch stream. This stream feed into the Owendore which feed into the Dodder upstream of the Lower Dodder Road. South Dublin County Council intend to progress this work in 2017 subject to OPW funding."
